The CBC is on to me! They’ve identified my ‘Fuddle Duddle’ video as copyrighted content.
So far, the video has reached over 20,000 views and almost 100 comments. People in this country seem to have a certain sense of nostalgia – especially when it comes to Trudeau. In this instance, the fine folks at CBC have been kind. Read more about the notice they sent, via YouTube, after the jump.
Here’s the notice from YouTube – it appears that they won’t take the content down. Instead, they’ll monitor it and post ads:
Dear dsdxd,
Your video “Fuddle Duddle as coined by Pierre Trudeau” has been identified by YouTube’s Content Identification program as containing copyrighted content which Canadian Broadcasting Corp. claims is theirs.
