The bar menus – in the true spirit of a wine bar, the drink list isn’t very complex or artistic. Their focus is good food and good wine as aptly put by barman Andrew Ralph.

Of course, I went against the grain and stuck mostly to cocktails and the experience was pretty good!

First course – Rillettes off the bar menu:

First Drink – Vanilla Storm – Absolut Vanilla, Lychee Liqeur, White Grape Juice:

Second course – Stuffed Sweet Pepper Samosa fennel cauliflower puree, crisp parsley and garlic garnish, lemon curry foam:

Second drink – Surfer Mentality – Absolut Vodka, Malibu Rum, Banana Liqueur, Coconut Garnish:

Third course – Peach and Sake braised Pork Belly, roasted vanilla Pork Loin & Crackling:

Third drink – Grande Cosmo – Stoli Orange, Grand Marnier, Cranberry & Lime:

Fourth course – Beef Striploin Tournedos, goat cheese green bean potato ‘tian, buttermilk onion rings, Madeira glace:

Overall, good experience and a great place for locals to hang out. Heck, you might even catch me there from time to time. Cheers!
