We have a number of new stadium-related updates for you this afternoon.

1. Bing Thom and Arthur Erickson speak up against the stadium.

World renowned architects and urban design experts Arthur Erickson and Bing Thom have come forward to voice their opposition to the proposed Vancouver Whitecaps stadium. The Gastown Neighbourhood Coalition welcomes their support.

2. Email City Council!

Do your part and let city council know that you support an alternate development for the waterfront.

Participating is easy.

1. Go to http://www.gastowncoalition.ca/letter.html to connect to our email campaign
2. Review the letter. Feel free to add your own comments.
3. For verification, include your name, business name and address
4. Click “Submit�
5. Send the link to anyone who shares our views for an alternate development.

3. Request to publish business names.

Calling all members. To enhance our credibility, the Gastown Neighbourhood Coalition wants to post a list of our members on our website. If you have already signed up as a member, email us with permission to publish your business name. Alternatively, we would be more than willing to post your logo on our site. Simply send us your logo in a .jpg format.

4. Invitation to Open House on Saturday, May 27th.

The Gastown Neighbourhood Coalition will be hosting an open house this coming Saturday. Coalition representatives will be on hand to answer questions on the stadium.
