Today was fun, had a full day, great lunch, good company, a networking session and did I mention that some great food was experienced as well.

Started the day right by having lunch with Trevor (Metasoft). We enjoyed some great food at Cioppinos and a bottle of wine (it seems the only time you can have a $1000+ bottle of wine at lunch is if you’re with your mentor, right?)…

Thereafter, did some month end stuff, financial activity then rushed off to the ESN Networking Evening. Starting to feel really SOHOish – the blind soliciting the blind. I met a couple nice people but really, not too much in terms of busines potential. I’m starting to feel blasé about networking events in this city. It seems that these events are oversubscribed by mercenaries more than those intent on growing their own business. If the Executive Zone which I am launching in 2005 starts to look and feel like this, you’ll likely see me on the roof of the building plotting my quick and timely descent.

For dinner, I went to Vintropolis. Food was excellent as well – service was good, Tamara the waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Brady and Jen accompanied. We finished off with a nice bottle of Sauternes – a treat to end the day.
